Prices 2008

Our prices are structured according to what you want to do, when you want to do it and how many guides/instructors you need.

HIGH AND LOW SEASON PRICE BANDS
High Season: - All weekends & bank holidays.
- Midweek days in the summer holidays.
Low Season: - Midweek days during the rest of the year.


MOUNTAIN WALKING AND SCRAMBLING (WITHOUT ROPES)
High Season: £185 for each guide/instructor.
Low Season: £165 for each guide/instructor.

The maximum instructor/group ratio is 8-10 people per guide for a mountain walk but some rocky scrambles and exposed ridges may need two guides for a group of 8 for example. For advice about routes, ratios or prices for larger groups, please email or phone for a quote.


ROCK CLIMBING, ROPED SCRAMBLING AND WINTER MOUNTAINEERING
Guiding ratio - 1:1 1:2 1:3 1:4
High Season - £165 £185 £205 £225
Low Season - £145 £165 £185 £205

The guiding ratio is the number of people with each guide / instructor. Groups of more than 4 people should email or phone for a quotation.

The rates are the total cost per day, per guide/instructor and include the hire of technical climbing equipment.

Prices do not include travel, insurance, accommodation, food & drink, mountain boots, rucksack or outdoor clothing.

These prices are for guiding in North Wales.  Guiding in other parts of the UK or overseas will be priced separately.
