Intermediate Welsh Rock

Rock climbing for intermediates is around the Hard Severe to Hard Very Severe grades, so it would include some of the harder classics but nothing too desperate.

If you have already seconded routes of around Severe, then being guided on slightly harder HS and VS ground could be just the thing for pushing your grade and pushing yourself a bit more. Once you are happy following VS then it opens up the variety of routes you can have a go at – many of the climbs on the Sea Cliffs are VS and harder.

Seconding slightly harder climbs may give you the confidence to try leading some easier climbs too.
