Llanberis is a great place to be based if you want to be in the middle of all the best places to try out rock climbing for the first time. Within a short distance there are many crags and many types of rock to climb on.

You don't need any experience to learn to climb, just enthusiasm and a reasonable level of fitness. We would normally be outdoors all day and would stop for a short picnic lunch at some point during the day.

For complete beginners, or people who have climbed indoors and want to learn about climbing outside, we have rock climbing starter weekends and weekdays. For those who have climbed a bit before and want to progress we have intermediate rock climbing and for people who want to learn to go off and climb independently we can offer instruction in how to lead climb.
